A Point to Consider
|
Years ago back in my salad days I serviced the Aquaculture Industry with industrial supplies. Every year they would replace all the nuts & bolts that held the floating staunch-ens to their ocean tuna farm nets.
The stainless steel 20*110mm hex head bolt were just a remaining shell with the inside being eaten away. The Tuna that swam all day in a circle around the net releasing energy in the form of a small electrical current that was then transferred to any conductive material. The generated current along with the salt being heavy in minerals also contribute to the electrolysis process being amplified. The simple solution for the farmers was to add anodes to the nets acting as a sacrificial metal attract-or so they didn't have to replace the bolts as often. |
