Longer is available upon request but needs to be sea freighted & large order needed. LED Strip Lighting comes in hundreds of different types from size in tape width, voltage, the amount of LED`s per metre, colour or colour temperature, colour rendering index (CRI), quality and life longevity.
The rule of thumb is for projects of 5 metres or less 12 volt DC is fine but for projects of up to 10 metres in length then you will want a 24 volt DC system to ensure there is no voltage drop over distance and ensuring even illumination on each run or power service. If you are using a high watt output of strip lighting for architectural suspended or over bench lighting a 24 volt DC supply is essential. |

Install of strip lighting is much easier and so much more professional looking if you have aluminium channel to stick it into. The aluminium profiles clean flat surface will ensure longevity of your strip lighting project.

For lighting up stairs for safety or accent lighting our pl006 quarter round allows the strip light to be mounted on a forty five degree angle directing the light over the entire step. For step lighting you can also use our pl027 and pl037 aluminium profiles.
Our general purpose most common selling aluminium profile is by far our Pl002 and can be fixed to just about any flat surface and is used with the most common LED strip lighting 5050 12mm wide.
Cabinetmakers like our Pl001 flanged recess LED extrusion. They use a router to trench into the 16mm melamine so the LED aluminium extrusion sits flush with the surface.
There are a number of led strip channel profiles for suspension lighting, glass framing, wall and floor lighting to create that architectural look.
We stock the pl001 & pl002. For the other aluminium extrusion profiles please allow 3 weeks for delivery.
