Constant Current Drivers
For most LED applications, it is better to use constant current drivers as they will ensure all the luminary`s are even in brightness with undefinable change.
They offer you the designer & architect peace of mind your project will look even & professional. Ideal for home lighting, shops, hotels & displays where consistency & even lighting will be noticed. Constant current LED drivers are more efficient than constant voltage drivers as far as lumens per watt output.

Constant Voltage Drivers
Many LED projects can be made by stringing or connecting luminaries together such as LED modules in signs or garden LED lighting systems.
If you had 2 lights on one string connected in series then another string running 4 lights in series the constant voltage driver will ensure the 2 light string will not be brighter than the 4 light string providing even lighting on both strings. One must keep in mind on larger projects there is voltage drop over distance so having 20 lights wired in one long string or series the last LED may not be as bright as the first LED providing uneven lighting. This can be overcome by wiring the 20 lights in parallel or 4 strings of 5 lights for example. Voltage Amplifiers will also help to provide even lighting in each string. Any RoHS compliant component must have 100 ppm or less of mercury and the mercury must not have been intentionally added to the component.
