The Underwater Tube Light LED are designed to work underwater & if the operating temperature exceeds 60 degrees C the light has an automatic safety cut out & will switch off. We recommend you only use the light in the water to keep its operating temperature cool.

In the video above we trialed the Underwater Tube Light LED just outside the marina in Boston Bay Port Lincoln South Australia.
As soon as the lights went in the water you could see the buzz of plankton & aqua-zoo attracted to the green light. Within a minute the 4 inch garfish came jumping across the top of the water toward the light almost like they were jumping to view the light from a different perspective.
The small garfish fed on the zoo plankton for a minute or two before they dispersed & were taken over by a large school of pilchards. We looked at the school on the radar sounder & the skipper said it was the biggest school of pilchards he had ever seen on the sounder. The pilchard school was a massive bait ball & it didn't take long before the king fish arrived. The king fish darted through the school having a good feed on the dazed pilchards.
After 15 minutes a pack of dolphins found us & the feeding frenzy continued on the pilchards. The dolphins stayed on the perimeter of the shining light feeding on the edge of the pilchard school. After 20 minutes the skipper had seen enough & was impressed by the performance of the Underwater Tube light LED & found they do in fact attract fish.

Underwater Tube Light LED available in two styles.
The Internal Driver Underwater Tube Light LED is a more compact design suited more for the recreational fisher. It comes with a standard 5 meter polyurethane PUR cable, cigarette plug in power adapter & alligator clips to connect directly to a battery.
The internal driver are available in 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 60 & 80 watt with the colour option of green, blue or white. |
The external driver Underwater Tube Light LED is available in 40, 60, 80 & 100 watt & is supplied as a standard of 3 meters of cable that goes from the tube light to the driver box. A further 2 meters of cable is supplied to connect to the battery or power source. Made with high quality Cree LED chips & polyurethane PUR coated cable the external driver tube light is industrial quality & grade.
