During my recent vacation in Thailand, I enjoyed a full-day diving excursion with "Oxygen Tours" at Koh Tao Island. Toa translates to turtle, while Koh means island. We visited several unique dive locations, each showcasing its own distinctive corals and fish species. It wasn't until the final dive at Shark Bay that I saw my first wild swimming turtle. With two symbiotic protective sucker sharks accompanying it, the turtle grazed on the algae and seagrass growing on the coral floor. I was struck by its size and the graceful way it moved through the water. This was undoubtedly an unforgettable experience.
