The specific semiconductor we use is the BXEN-40S Full Spectrum 2835, 9V/1W, 4000K, 90mA — the same premium Bridgelux THRIVE component featured across our aquatic bar light range. Its super-wide spectral output spans deep into both the blue and red ends of the light spectrum, covering the precise wavelengths most critical for photosynthesis and aquatic life development.

Compact, Self-Contained & Smart-Ready
Unlike bar light systems that require separate external drivers, the HB02 is a fully self-contained unit with the driver built in. The handheld remote dimmer knob provides effortless light control straight out of the box. For commercial operations, simply connect your own lighting control system via the onboard 0–10Vdc signal cable.
Research has confirmed that optimising light spectrum — particularly increasing yellow wavelengths — can dramatically boost algae lipid production, making spectrum quality a genuine competitive advantage for commercial growers.

What is it the best LED semi conductor to use for Aquaculture? Ours of course, because its closest to natural sunlight as possible with the highest of colour render index "CRI" Ra>97.6. The LED Semi conductor we use in our aquaculture light is a Bridgelux Brand and was invented for the horticultural industry to mimic the suns spectral range. It is known as Bridgelux Thrive and trade marked. We use the BXEN-40S Full spectrum 2835, 9V/1w 4000k, 90mA semi conductors in our high bay aquatic lights as well as our algae and aquatic bars.
